Velocity Data Centers

Velocity Futures provides service from our world class data centers co-located in Chicago and Houston for added service and reliability. Our Chicago facility houses the main futures operation and the Houston facility is focused on energy trading. Each data center can function as a disaster recovery site for all operations.

Velocity data centers are engineered with technology, physical infrastructure, and security unmatched in the industry. Our data centers are backed by strict maintenance schedules and monitoring to keep operations running without interruption. Each data center is equipped with N+1 redundant power systems, two-factor biometric access control and 24 hour video surveillance.

Each of our data centers is located at the nexus of several major data and telecommunications carriers. We have direct access to every major futures exchange with interconnect capabilities to over 200 networks, which we believe gives us the fastest, most reliable order execution and delivery of market data anywhere in the world. Velocity customers connect via the internet, leased lines, private networks or are hosted directly in one of our data centers.

Velocity Network

Networks are everything when it comes to service delivery. At Velocity Futures, we operate an extensive network infrastructure throughout the U.S. and beyond.

We connect exclusively to tier-1 carriers with an aggregate capacity 1,000 times faster than a typical broadband connection. The Velocity network is designed to eliminate bottlenecks through self-optimizing routing technology. Our network has access to over 200 carrier and IP networks to provide the most cost effective and reliable private line connections.

Velocity Hosting

When latency and reliability are key, Velocity Futures offers system hosting directly in our state of the art data centers. We provide turn-key private trading systems, and we can also host your custom trading platform. Our dedicated technical support team enables you to focus on your business and not the details of operating complex infrastructure.

Velocity has multiple dedicated internet service providers– Level 3 and AT&T–in our state-of-the-art data center so that your connections to us over MAN circuit or internet are stable even if one of our providers goes down. Network failures of one provider are un-noticeable to you. At Velocity, we invest heavily in hosting to eliminate connection instability, allowing our customers to achieve their financial goals.
